Maybe it's just me, but I've noticed A LOT lately that TONS of people are giving away their pets (mostly dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters/gerbils, rats, and chinchillas). I have seen in newspapers and online where people are getting rid of their pets for free. Is it b/c of the economy? Money maybe? Moving? Why are a lot of people giving away their pets? Its called the recession. We can barely afford to put food on the family table and we are behind with our mortgage. We have 3 dogs and I've had to cancel the pet insurance as I simply cannot pay it any more. I would never ever give my dogs away but sometimes people get to the stage that there is no other choice. Why are a lot of people giving away their pets?
There are a lot of reasons.
1. They can no longer afford the pet financially, and so they think the best thing is to give the pet to someone who can
2. Someone in the family has allergies and can't tolerate being near the pet
3. They're moving away to a place that doesn't allow pets
4. They took the pet in temporarily, and are looking to find it a permanent homeWhy are a lot of people giving away their pets? It's the economy mostly, people can't afford vet, feed and other care cost. We are going into a very hard period of time financially! Why are a lot of people giving away their pets?
I think they are very bazy now,Why are a lot of people giving away their pets?cuz they can't care 4 them
