Yes, the bacteria from your pets mouths are in their dishes, and let's not forget animals lick their own privates! It would be okay in the dishwasher as the water is much hotter and drained away and rinsed, but when you wash by hand the water might not be hot enough to kill all the bacteria and it lingers in the washing up bowlIs it unclean to wash your dishes with your pets dishes?I don't see why not.
