Do you own a cat in an apartment that doesnt allow pets?

I want to get a cat but my place doesnt allow pets, whats the worst that could happen if I get a pet cat? do you do it or know anyone that does?Do you own a cat in an apartment that doesnt allow pets?Cats are pets so you already know the answer. They can force you to get rid of the cat and they can evict you and make you pay for any damages if they happen.Do you own a cat in an apartment that doesnt allow pets?Ah, lovely - yet another person who doesn't want to follow rules.

If you want a cat - MOVE. Cats love windows so there's no way to hide the fact you have a cat. Landlords also reserve the right to enter your place or have maintenance workers enter your place when you're not there. So the cat will be discovered at that time. And the "worst that could happen"?You'd end up evicted and forfeiting any deposits or last month's rent you have on your apartment.

No shelter is going to adopt out to you, either. Grow up.Do you own a cat in an apartment that doesnt allow pets? They can evict you or charge you some kind of fee. Look for details in your lease. Most likely they'll say "Get rid of the cat or we're getting rid of you." It may be worth talking to them ahead of time and asking if they would be willing to make an exception, say if the cat is an adult and no bigger than x pounds and you pay a deposit.

If they say no, please don't get a cat until you're living somewhere you can keep him. People bringing animals into apartments where they're not allowed is one of the top reasons pets are dumped in shelters, it's not fair to put a cat through that kind of trauma.
