Is it considered cruelty to animals if you lock your pets up in pet carriers for the night?

i have a friend who says its cruelty to animals to lock up your pets in pet carriers for the night. The pet carriers that my pets are put in are big enough for 3 small to medium sized dogs. i have searched the web to see if its true or not but I haven't found any so can any of you guys or gals help me out?Is it considered cruelty to animals if you lock your pets up in pet carriers for the night? No - it's not cruelty. In fact - most dog experts recommend this as it supports the dogs den instincts.. Most dogs actually prefer to be kenneled at night. I leave the kennel door open for mine and they climb right in and stay there. It's their favourite spot.Is it considered cruelty to animals if you lock your pets up in pet carriers for the night?
No, it's called crate training and most trainers recommend it in fact! It's a place they feel safe and will go to at other times as well! Is it cruel for a baby to be in a crib??? No, it's a safe and secure place that is their very own.Is it considered cruelty to animals if you lock your pets up in pet carriers for the night?Legally, it's probably not cruelty, but to my morals, yes.Is it considered cruelty to animals if you lock your pets up in pet carriers for the night?
Definitely not cruel. Actually makes most pets feel comfortable and secure in their bed at night and will also be very good house training tool since most pets will not potty in the kennel. Is it considered cruelty to animals if you lock your pets up in pet carriers for the night?I thinks its not.Is it considered cruelty to animals if you lock your pets up in pet carriers for the night?

No it is not cruel. We keep our dog locked up during day time actually. But we release the evening because it needs its energy and to be alert.
Not cruel. Dogs like their crates :) I've only done it to stray cats and they've usually been so sick or injured they didn't mind. I'm not sure if a healthy one would be alright with it.
