How do I make my pets be friends on The Sims 2?

Yeah... So, I just got Sims Pets for PC, and I was wondering how I could make my cats be friends so that I can breed them. I'm extremely confused because I can't control the cats to make them do friendly things. Help?How do I make my pets be friends on The Sims 2?I am pretty sure they become friends on there own. Do you mean you can't get them to do any interactions or just not positive ones? Either way you probably just have to sit back and let the cats get to know each other. Sometimes their personalities won't get along so it depends on how you set the cats up personality wise. If you give it time they will get a relationship with each other. There is also a cheat you can use but I don't want to give it to you unless you want it. If you do feel free to mail me through my yahoo answers profile and I will walk you through the cheat. Any time the pet is doing something right (even if it doesn't involve the other pet), choose Praise for whatever good thing it was. Use scold if you are discouraging a behavior too, but mostly you want to find every instance where you can praise the pet. If the pet learns that being nice gets more praise, the pet does become nicer. I've found that its a lot like real pets, if you scold them a lot but you don't take the time to praise the good stuff... they don't learn what is the correct behavior with appropriate praise, the progress is slower. It's like being yelled at all the time at work, and no one taking the time to tell you when you are totally awesome at the things you are good at. Your morale suffers and so does your work. So remember the praise is important! :)
