Do you think that pets should be spoiled?

I am writing a speech for my class about pets being spoiled, and I want your opinion. In my opinion, dogs should be spoiled because they will respect you more!Do you think that pets should be spoiled?There is absolutely nothing wrong with spoiling your pet. My dog is spoiled rotten. Yes, everyone says he is a spoiled dog. But whatever. He likes to get his way and he usually always does. I was spoiled rotten as a kid and I am totally well-adjusted and fine. Everyone loves to be spoiled. What's the point of having a dog if you are not going to spoil him/her? Just like what's the point of having a kid if you are not going to spoil him/her?



And, yes, spoiled dogs respect you WAY more. They listen to you more, they are easier to train... because they feel more loved. If you don't spoil your dog, they are going to feel deprived. And nowadays with so many dogs getting spoiled by their owners, a dog will be inferior to his/her dog friends if he/she is not spoiled. If you do not spoil your dog, they many become depressed and aggressive - they will be trying to take out all of their anger on anything or anyone.

To a certain point yes...Do you think that pets should be spoiled?Treating your pet to things they like is one thing, but a lot of people go overboard and don't train or discipline their dogs, and that makes them aggresive and dominant. That's the issue you see with many small dogs--their owners don't discipline them so the dogs jump and bark at you all day long. For the most part their owners think it's cute so the small dogs act that way--but who would tolerate a german sheperd jumping on you and barking at you for the duration of your stay? No one in their right mind, that's for sure! Whenever I go to the pet store I buy my dog a pig ear, I let him lay his head on my lap, and pet pet him for hours at a time--but he knows that I'm in charge, and he obeys me. My dog doesn't jump on people nor does he bark at people.Do you think that pets should be spoiled?
