What pets would be suitable for an apartment?

My boyfriend lives in an apartment, and has decided that he wants a pet, and I love animals as much as he does, and I will help take care of whatever animal/pet we get. The only problem is the landlord does not allow dogs, and cats cost 200$ a month to keep there and we can't do that. Right now we are talking about getting a chinchilla. I just wanted to know if there are any other pets that would do well in an apartment setting that aren't dogs, cats, or fish (he doesn't want any fish).What pets would be suitable for an apartment?Hi there.



How about rabbits? I highly recommend the Mini Rex breed.

Mini Rex rabbits are just SO cute. They're really friendly and so easy to train. Their coats are like velvet because they are short-haired and therefore easier to look after because they are less-likely to get fly strike. Mini Rexs also have great personalities! They're so different from any other rabbit but they get along fine with other breeds.

Rabbit : If you like cats pick a rabbit , i have two and they act just like cats! They can even be litter box trained! They are loving and passionate if you make a bond you will have it forever! They clean themselves so NEVER give them a bath! if you do there ears could get wet and die!



Parakeet/Parrot : Parrots and parakeets are like dogs! They will sit on you hand,finger,shoulder, anywhere you want them to! I also have parakeets and it is to much fun to let them eat out of my hand!

N yea, Chinchillas sleep alot though. They arent very exciting pets. Ferrets are more fun, almost like a cat but they are more hyper and funny lolz

Rats! they are great! They are basically like a dog. They love your Company and they love to play with you. Just get more than one as they like the company of other rats
