Is having too many pets threatening to child custody?

My friend is going to have baby, she is not happy about it. she never wanted kids but has decided not to be the baby up for adoption. the problem is she loves her pets! which include 20 some odd snakes including a 14 ft python, a alligator, a hedgehog, 3 big dogs, and a lizard. also multiple cages of rats that she breeds to feed the rats. She refused to reduce her zoo. Would this be cause for someone to call child services on her and if so what are the chances of her keeping her kid and the animals? Is having too many pets threatening to child custody? You would rather see the child in foster care than with the father? Or does he live there too?Is having too many pets threatening to child custody?
To be honest, I'm more worried about your friend and how she will treat the baby in the future. If she isn't happy about it in the first place, then how will you know that she will provide the care and nourishment needed to keep her baby healthy? I would really hate to have her feel like her baby is a burden and doesn't deserve to get what he or she wants and needs.

The animals on the other hand are an overkill. Depending on where she lives will depend on if its legal or not. You should look into it. If she has to get rid of her pets, she may end up despising her child and I shudder to think of what will happen then.Is having too many pets threatening to child custody?whats the real problem here?

She may not feel ready for the baby but trust me when the baby is born 98% of time the women feel an overwelming urge to proctect that child.

Why should she reduce her "zoo"? if all the animals are in correct and clean conditions whats the problem. The baby will grow up to become the next Bindi Irwin!!!

And if your thinking of phoning child services then what kind of friend are you? you should be there to support her and help with baby care!Is having too many pets threatening to child custody?
depends where she lives. Is she married or single? Does she have enough to support herself, a newborn (to grow), %26amp; this farm?

next it all depends on if enough people call child welfare services with negative reports.

Are the pets kept inside or outdoors? does she live in a city or on a farm?

In the USA certain animals are not allowed to be kept as pets . . .Is having too many pets threatening to child custody? An alligator??? Well, i certainly wouldn't feel comfortable with a baby around my house if i had all those animals. Yes, anybody can call about that and i think they should, that is not a place for a baby to grow up in at all. Very unsafe. Is having too many pets threatening to child custody?
Only if it is a threat to the child. If the house was really dirty with poo or something and all the animals were running loose then yes. Anybody can call and make a report but it is up to the caseworker to decide whether the case is founded or unfounded. Is having too many pets threatening to child custody?
Doubtful

A kid in FL was killed 2 wks ago by the family python.

She better have the proper licenses to have them.
Yes. Having that many pets to begin with is illegal.. Except if your a breeder or have live stock. But living in a home with that many pets is illegal so yes she can loose her child if child services are called.
