How important are your pets?

Is your pets health just as important as yours, more or less? Im studying to be a veterinary doctor.How important are your pets?Very i have 2 great danes and they are like my kids.How important are your pets?
In my personal opinion, I think your own health is more important. With that said, I think that a pet is almost like having a child. It's a huge responsibility to take on, so you should care for a pet just as you would your child or family member.How important are your pets?my sweet lil dog is my life. i am more likely to take her to the vet if she is sick, than take myself 2 the doctor if i only had the money for one of us. i can take care of myself, but she depends on me to help her out in her time of need. i would say we are equal in terms of health issues, but i will aways treat her first because she wouldnt know how, while i do. hope this helps! and good luck with becoming a vet! vets are wonderful people!i love people who care for all animlas! =)How important are your pets?

I take my responsibilities as a pet owner very seriously, and keeping my cats healthy is extremely important. I don't know if I can rate it as more or less important than my own health... I suppose in a way I feel more compelled to take them to the doctor when they're sick than I do to take me to the doctor when I'm sick... If I ignore my own health 'cause I'm broke or lazy that's my choice, but they can't make the decision to not care for themselves. If that makes sense.



When you get a pet you're willingly taking on responsiblity for a living creature, not buying a toy, and that's not something to be taken lightly. If a person isn't going to take their pet's health seriously they should reconsider their reasons for getting a pet.
My two dogs are very important to me. I consider my partner, family, friends and pets health before my own!!

I would go out of my way and endanger my own health to save the life of my pets. I have three cats and all of them mean that much to me.

I put my pets health above my own. I chose them, they didn't choose me so it is imparative I'm am 100% tending to there medical needs. It's fair... they are my children. Most of us put our children first right?
There health is just as important as my own. Pets are a very big part of a persons life. You should treat them as such. If you think about it they can be more loyal to a person than other people.
