Do you think its mean to dress your pets for Halloween?

I have a kitten and a dog. For Halloween I was thinking of dressing my kitten as a dog and my dog as a kitten, but my friend told me this was considered at animal abuse, but I see Halloween costumes for pets at Pet stores? Is it Animal Abuse?Do you think its mean to dress your pets for Halloween?No it's not animal abuse. As long as you don't dress them up all the time it doesn't hurt. Dogs and cats aren't fashion statements. They don't need makeup, jewelry, their own clothing line, etc. People do go to the extreme and dress their pets up just like in the movies Beverly Hills Chihuahua and Legally Blonde.

Honey don't let's thirst tree huggers let u think otherwise if it was animal abuse they wouldn't sell it in stores just like u said dogs and cats get cold like humans I have a bichon frise named Leo I buy clothing crazy for him he has sweaters jackets shirts etc and i I think the nail paintings is crazy especially for dogs but I do like to get him a thin little costume last year he was a pumpkin idk what he will be this year but I have to buy him something I'm bringing him to my cousins Halloween party with meDo you think its mean to dress your pets for Halloween?No way! Like others suggested, as far as you don't hurt your pet, it is not abuse. Logically, a dog wouldn't really get offended if it is dressed like a cat and the vice versa. When a guy can dress up like a girl or a girl can dress up like a guy, why not the pets lol.Do you think its mean to dress your pets for Halloween?
