Which cause for a non-profit organizattion is more important - homeless people or homeless pets?

I want to start a charitable non-profit organization, and I need some help deciding what I want the cause to be. Should I focus on homless people? Homeless pets?

If you have a different important cause, what is it?

What should I name the organization, based on the cause?

So two questions:

1. What cause should my non-profit focus on? (Or should we focus on more than one cause?)

2. What should I name the non-profit?

Thanks in advance!Which cause for a non-profit organizattion is more important - homeless people or homeless pets? You should look into the type of organizations that already exist in your area. It does not make sense to duplicate efforts. If there is a good organization that helps homeless people, but not one to help homeless pets, then the answer is clear.

In addition to researching existing organizations in your area, be sure to look at similar organizations in other areas of the country so you can learn more about the issues associated with each cause. Then you can determine which cause means more to you. The most successful organizations are started by people who have a passion for their cause.

There are tons of non-profit organizations in the country. You might discover it isn't necessary to start a new one. Instead, your efforts might be better utilized by helping an already existing organization.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
