What is a pet store that will hire at 16 and actually sells pets. not just supplies?

i'm looking for a job with animals and i already work at a dog kennel but i want to work in a store because the kennel job is only seasonal, so what is a pet store that just doesn't strictly sell supplies but sells pets also.

Often time, the big chains like PetSmart and Petco won't hire under 18 because of liability issues. Start shopping there frequently and let them get to know you. At the same time, find out as much as you can about them. If they buy the pets that they sell from commercial breeding operations, you really don't want to work there. Puppy mills = yuck!
