Is there an easy way to remember the die, das and der for pets in german?

I really can't remember the starting der/die/das for the pets in german. I need a way i can remember, a poem, or trick to remember it.

Pets i need to learn in german:



Cat, dog, horse, guinea pig, hamster, bird, mouse, gerbil, rabbit, parrot, budgie, goldfish, snake, tortoise, rat.Is there an easy way to remember the die, das and der for pets in german?Learn them in an order, so all of the der words, all the das words and then all the die words.

Say der then all the words, then say das, then all the words, then say die and remember those words. It may not make it easy but it will be easier to remember if you can just think back to the order.

If any word in German ends in the letter E, it is more than likely die before it.

For example Der Goldfisch Peter, Die Katze Minka, Der Hund Bello. And if it is easier for you, then try to remember even the names (maybe you find "famous" pets like the St. Bernard Beethoven). That's what I do with my french articles and it works quite well :)
