How do you sell pets at a pet store (Sims 2 Mac)?

I've already bought the containers for cats/dogs to be viewed in, but there are no options to stock them? If so, make sure you clicked on your phone and selected something that says something about a home business. But even if it's on a community lot, make sure you've done the same. And are you sure you have the open/closed for business sign? I think it's in misc/decorative. It's a small green/red sign that hangs anywhere (Outside your building or inside, it doesn't matter because everyone can see it no matter where it is! xD) on a wall and when you click it, you'll have the options such as 'Send employees home', 'Call employees in' (Not exactly these words, but you know where I'm getting) 'Open Business' and 'Close Business'. Closing the business of course doesn't mean to actually shut it down forever.



And for selling your own pets, no, you CANNOT put them in the containers and sell them. But you CAN click on a sim (It may only be outside of the family, but I could be wrong) and after greeting them if it's a stranger, you should have the option to sell your pet to them. It might depend on your relationship, but I haven't played in a while so I'm not 100% sure.
