What do you think of people who leave their pets during a flood? Especially leaving them chained up, in a cage/crate etc.

If I could get out safely, I would definitely bring my pet unless it were like a goldfish or something...then it could possible survive longer in a flood than if I brought it with me. If it were a bird I would definitely take it with me in the cage, or if I didn't have time I would just free it. If it were another pet I'd take it with me. I think you are completly wrong animals and anything living is worth the same as humans becuase we are all living things and if you believe in reincarnation then you mgiht come back as a animal and be left behind and you wouldnt like that would you ???????

Unfortunately we sometimes have to make dreadful decisions in life and it isn't good to be judgmental when we are not in full possession of the facts. On the face of it, it is a horrible thing to do, but I am sure that for many people it will haunt them for the rest of their lives, because they did it without having any other alternative.What do you think of people who leave their pets during a flood?Yes, it is cruel, but if you have to sacrifice an animal's life to save a human life, it's worth it.
