Why makes people think their pets are like kids?

It's insulting to those of us that have kids (and pets). Like somehow, because they don't have kids, their pets are elevated to person status. Please knock it off!! Kids are raised (to become adults and hopefully make a contribution to society), dogs are trained (to obey). I'm not trying to be mean but come on lets keep things in perspective.Why makes people think their pets are like kids?if you're god then do you really need this question answered?

My parents have pets. they're like their kids just like me and my siblings are. MY aunt has pets. They're her kids, just like her real kids are. They're NOT JUST ANIMALS.Why makes people think their pets are like kids?becasue i supose that either they dont want to full responsibilty of a child and rather have a pet. or they arent able to have children or afford the costs which through out a life time accumulates and becomes great... now i dont understand it either..Why makes people think their pets are like kids?

It's insulting to me that such arrogance exists in other people but I'm not advocating the eternal silencing of such people. Besides, I've seen kids that are less behaved than my dogs and think that it's an affront to society that their parents are even allowed to raise them that way and just add to the rest of uncultured, narrow-minded, ignorant people that just adds to society's burdens and problems but do I tell them to stop having children? No. Why? It's none of my business. So live and let live.

Yeap Kids get older and learn to feed and clean up after them selves. Pets need care thier whole life. Pets ARE members of the family and you can love you 4 legged children as much as you 2 Legged kids. Why is it insulting to people who have kids that people love thier pets like children, Do you have a limited amount of Love?



Dogs can contribute to society

Therepy dogs

Search and rescue dogs

Service dogs

Police dogs

Bomb sniffing dogs

Etc.



No dog has ever been convivted of rape or robbery or terrorizom but they have prevented all of these.
get over it. People are going to do just what they want.
