How good of pets are bearded dragons?

i know they are good pets, but what do you do with yours. how is it so great? How good of pets are bearded dragons?Beardies are AWESOME. 8D They have the most comical personalities and always cheer you up. You can take them outside to play in the sun-they even make special harnesses. You can wrap them up in a towel (to keep them warm) and sit and watch TV with them. They are so laid back and they love attention. I like to "VELCRO-STICK!" them to my shirt-and yes, you absolutely must say "STICK" every time you do it-and just go about my tasks. I have even seen pics of peoples' beardies going swimming! Just make sure the chlorine is not harmful. (Note: when they are very yound they will obviously be too small to go on a harness, and they will be a bit jumpier since they are young and curious, but they grow quickly and you will never be bored with a beardie.)How good of pets are bearded dragons?

I have a uromastyx that is great, but if I didn't have him i would have bearded dragon. How good of pets are bearded dragons?PLEASE NOTE bearded dragons are not adept swimers. I have taken my dragons in teh pool yes, but only accompanying me on a semi-submersible raft (not allowing the water to go up over the shoulders). Bearded dragons can float, and can swim well enough for short bouts in shallow water (shallow for them! ) , but I would certainly not recomend anything deep enough that it require chlorine (unless again, it is a situation in which your dragon is supported and the water is not too high for it. Bearded dragons are dry terain animals!

(this is in response to a previos post. I can see people assuming by that post that they can just drop their beardie in a pool DO NOT do this)
