Would a miniature horses make for good indoor pets?

My daughter wants one of those cute miniature horses.

Do they make good house pets?

I do have a large house about 7500 square feet, and about 2 acres of grass.

I don't have a barn, so they will have to stay indoors.Would a miniature horses make for good indoor pets?Absolutely NOT! They would need too much room to move around...aside from the fact that they would ruin your floors. Keeping an animal such as that indoors (even in a large house...think about it...how many rooms would it actually have free reign to roam in?) is just cruel. Build a small barn and fence in an area so that it has the ability to roam and run and snack. Let it use its true nature and be a horse...no matter the size. If you can't do that...it is time to tell your daughter to think of another pet that would be more realistic to keep.

Good LuckWould a miniature horses make for good indoor pets?Definatly not!

People do keep them as seeing eye animals, but they are NOT suposed to be pets. They were once wild animals so no. They also would not be happy because they like open areas where they can see outside and don't like to be trapped in a house. Plus it's really hard to potty train a miniature horse. I would get a dog if anything.Would a miniature horses make for good indoor pets?no no no no no no

Absolutely not

. Keeping an animal like that indoors even in a big house is cruel. Build fence and a barn or somethin at least a small one. it is a horse not a dog they are still horses just smaller they need room to run and be a horse. and it would ruin your floors

tell youerf daughter that she has unreal expectations and if she wants an indoor pet get a dog or catWould a miniature horses make for good indoor pets?
Build a 3 sided shelter, it will be easier than cleaning your carpets.
