Can hunman and pets food be served in the same place? Is it legal or not?

Our team has a business plan about building a pet coffee shop which owners and pets both can have beverages and dessert. I don't know if it is legal or not to serve both human and animals food in a place in Missouri. Our teacher mentioned that it is illegal in Seattle.Can hunman and pets food be served in the same place? Is it legal or not?One way to find out for sure, call the health department, they have to give you a license at any place of business that feeds people whether coffee or animal crackers.

I can't see that being a problem in MO. Either way, if you provide the food and drink free for the animals, they can't say no since you're only charging for the human food. At Culvers here in colorado I ask people who have dogs if they want a dog treat in the drive threw window and some are diabettisc or some have something or a cold. but it's an awsome Idea!
