Has anyone been caught with having a cat in an apartment where pets aren't allowed?

I'm planning to move out, but I have my cute kitty that I raised as a kitten and my mom sure as hell doesn't want to take care of her, but my options of which apartment I move into is limited to the pets/no pets spectrum. So what if I happened to just take my cat into a no pets apartment? what do they actually do? just tell you to get rid of it, fine you, or even kick you out!???Has anyone been caught with having a cat in an apartment where pets aren't allowed?it is pretty risky to take a pet in a no pet apartment but it has been done (keeping them secret) but i advise you do not take it to a apartment with a no pets policy as you could get a fine around 拢200 (not sure wat it is in american currency) but it could be more or less and it can get you kicked out of it so as i said my advice is to find a new home for it.. maybe someone else you no will take care of it so u could go visit it so you are not completely cut off from it but i do no wat it is like to be attatched to pet so if you are desperate to keep it try and find a place which allows pets

hope i helped

well ya know, it all depends on how big of a stick the apt. owners have up their b u t, but anyways i know of some friends that did that and got in major trouble, had to replace the carpets, got kicked out, and got major fined.

so depends on how big of a risk ya wanna take, yadda?

%26lt;3Has anyone been caught with having a cat in an apartment where pets aren't allowed?well, technically they can do what they want, but it depends on the person i guess ... you should talk to them ahead of time, because sometimes even when they say no pets, if you explain you only have one small house cat, they might let it slide. but it's usually pretty easy to find an apartment that will take one cat anyway ... the hard places to find are the ones that will take dogs.Has anyone been caught with having a cat in an apartment where pets aren't allowed?
I never have but I would just hide it when they come around like stick it in the closet or something. They can kick you out or they might make you pay a fee.Has anyone been caught with having a cat in an apartment where pets aren't allowed?just take it up
read your lease, there should be a section in there on itHas anyone been caught with having a cat in an apartment where pets aren't allowed?
You'll probably get a huge fine and get kicked out.
dogs rule cats droolHas anyone been caught with having a cat in an apartment where pets aren't allowed?
they will find out and they will make you get rid of her.(doesnt she mean more to you to let that happen) and may withhold part of your deposit. please dont put you and kitty in this situation. find one that will take pets. some say no pets but will take small ones if you ask. if you cant take her you owe it to her to make sure she has a good home.
hey only say that because someone left with a stink carpet that had a cat..if you do you are responsible for that carpet.then it ok hid the cat, I did.many years.if caught explane about above.
They will force you to get rid of the cat or evict you.
it all depends on the landlord but when I lived in FL we got caught w a cat in our apartment %26amp; we had to get rid of heror move out those were our choices......best of luck
nope I had cats alot of people had cats in our apt complex %26amp; never got kicked out some people even had small dogs. as long as you keep them quiet its fine but some people like to complain bcuz they are jealous for no reason. I had a person say I let my ferret unrine in the hallway %26amp; it wasnt true i had her on a leash walking then picked her up. they said I had a week to get rid of them I sent them over my aunts house then went a brought them back.
